Irina Golovina

Born in Chisinau (Moldova), Irina began studying piano, music history, and chamber music from an early age.

At the age of 15, she moved to Buenos Aires, where she continued her musical education at the National Conservatory. At 18, she settled in France, in Rennes, where she obtained the DEM (Diploma of Musical Studies) in piano and chamber music. It was at this time that she began her vocal studies at the Saint-Brieuc Conservatory, in the class of Béatrice Cramoix, where she earned her CFEM (Certificate of Completion of Musical Studies).

Since 2011, she has performed in operatic productions and concerts in Brittany, Normandy, and Paris, while continuing her training with professors such as Guillemette Laurence, Alain Buet, Amaya Dominguez, and Myriam de Aranjo. Between 2020 and 2021, Irina participated in masterclasses with Filippo Morace and Raúl Giménez during the “Rossini in Wildbad” festival in Germany, and also performed at the festival’s concerts.

She performed her first role (Dido), invited by the company Scènes en Perspectives, in the opera Dido and Aeneas at the national theater of Saint-Brieuc La Passerelle. Between 2015 and 2018, Irina portrayed Yvan in the contemporary opera Tristan and Isolde by Christophe Belletante, Carmen in Bizet’s Carmen, Anita in Bernstein’s West Side Story, and the Witch in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.

In April 2019, she joined the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing led by Jean-Claude Malgoire, where she performed the role of the Mother of Tom Thumb in Louis Aubert’s opera “The Blue Forest,” as well as Zinnia in Emmanuel Chabrier’s “L’Étoile.”
