Jesús Zambrano Compagnie - Voces Latinas in concert

Address
Sainte Rosalie Church 51 Bd Blanqui 75013 PARIS
Date

20H - 21H15

When twilight drapes Paris in golden veils, a millennial voice rises: Voces Latinas, bearer of Latin light, unfolds its horizons on June 26 under the dancing and inspired direction of Jesús Zambrano. This is not a concert, but a journey – from the sonic cathedrals of the Renaissance to the free winds of the New World.

A great civilization in polyphony
Exuberant shadows of Francisco Guerrero and Garcilaso de la Vega converse with the fiery dances of the Andes and all Hispanic America. Spain and America gaze eye to eye, whisper to whisper, in a dance where each voice carries the soul of a continent, of an entire civilization.
Paris, rare jewel : such repertoire – nourished by Castilian gravity and tropical scents – usually remains captive within Sevillian, Mexican, or Limean vaults. Here, it blooms, free and fraternal.

One night, one world: Voces Latinas transforms the capital into an Andalusian square, a Buenos Aires chapel… an Amazonian forest!
